This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Griffin always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Griffin is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.

2025 Outlook
I can't say I know what The Free Agents were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best.
