Hitting
One of the nice things about Larry is that he's a real clutch hitter. The book on Johnston is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Johnston isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Johnston you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.

2025 Outlook
I can't say I know what The Free Agents were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best.
