Mike Hooper   Left Fielder | Free Agents Hitting One of the nice things about Mike is that he's a real clutch hitter. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Mike Hooper to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is. Baserunning & Defense He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical. Minor league scouts have accused Hooper of being a liability in the field.
