James Isbister   Relief Pitcher | London Mustangs Pitching He can get groundballs when he needs them in a jam. Though Isbister can't just blow the ball by hitters, he has some giddyup on his fastball. Isbister also has a decent changeup. Isbister also throws a screwball. Because he can't overpower hitters, Isbister has to fool them instead. He's trying to develop a sinker, but as of yet it's been well below par. The running movement on his pitches makes life tougher on lefties than righties. Defense & Hitting He has a fair pickoff move and isn't a particularly easy target for basestealers. He tends to fall off slightly to the first-base side of the mound, making him vulnerable to bunts toward third base. He makes up for that minor flaw by being aggressive in fielding his position. Isbister is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Isbister has some pop in his swing.           -- Moostard Nyman
