Fumihiko Kaku
Second Baseman | Guelph Storm
Hitting He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. Kaku always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Guelph Storm do tend to sit Kaku when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.
Baserunning & Defense He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is slightly above average with a quick release. He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical.
2025 Outlook If Kaku doesn't perform, the Guelph Storm won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
