Abraham Kanan   Relief Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players Pitching He struggles with his command at times and is still learning to mix his pitches and set up hitters. His fastball gets into the high 80s, but it's the sink that makes the pitch effective. Kanan also has a decent changeup. He tends to work slowly when in a jam, which just makes his problems worse by lulling his fielders to sleep. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success. Defense & Hitting Kanan's move to first base is average. He isn't especially quick off the mound but generally fields his position adequately. Kanan is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Kanan has some pop in his swing.
