Frederic Novo   Relief Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players Pitching Novo forces hitters to keep the ball on the ground. He walks too many hitters and throws too many pitches. He can hit 90 MPH but is too smart to try to get his fastball past most hitters. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success. Defense & Hitting Though he lacks a good pickoff move, he checks the running game with a compact stretch delivery. Novo is nothing special in the field. Novo is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Novo has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Novo as a pinch-runner on occasion. 2025 Outlook If Novo doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
