Perry Kessell   Starting Pitcher | London Mustangs Pitching His fastball gets into the high 80s, but it's the sink that makes the pitch effective. The London Mustangs hope he can work on his control a little bit. Every once and a while one slips away from him and either ends up at the backstop or in the right field bleachers. He changes speeds well enough to keep righthanders from teeing off on him. Defense & Hitting He gobbles up comebackers, sometimes roaming far from the mound to get a glove on a ball. He's average in terms of controlling the running game. Kessell is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Kessell has some pop in his swing. 2025 Outlook The London Mustangs signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Kessell like a hot potato if something better comes along.           -- Emu Nyman, AA/AAA Scout
