Kas King   Center Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting The book on King is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. King always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense King isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. King doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. His arm is accurate enough. 2025 Outlook King was a rule-five pickup for the Retired or Inactive Players last year.
