Cortlan Korte   Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. Any manager would love to have this guy on his bench. He's a perfect for pinch hitting against a lefty reliever. Baserunning & Defense Korte doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Korte you're not putting him in for his glove. Cortlan's arm leaves a little to be a desired.           -- Moostard Nyman
