Hitting
The book on Massie is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Massie always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate, and he knows when to unload or take his time. Massie doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often.

2025 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Massie to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
