Clifton McHenry   First Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting One of the nice things about Clifton is that he's a real clutch hitter. McHenry never has been a patient hitter. I tell you, it's a real trip to watch this kid play. He gives 110% all the time... unfortunately that means he tends to run out of gas as the game wears on. Let's face facts: McHenry hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit McHenry when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. Baserunning & Defense His arm is below average but not a major weakness. He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal. 2025 Outlook McHenry flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition.
