Mother Otey   Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting Otey never has been a patient hitter. With his slap-hitting approach, Otey always hits like he already has two strikes. The results are usually groundballs or line drives to the opposite field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Mother Otey to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is. Baserunning & Defense When you play Otey you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.
