Mackey Peacock   Shortstop | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Peacock always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense Peacock doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Mackey's arm leaves a little to be a desired. 2025 Outlook Peacock was a rule-five pickup for the Retired or Inactive Players last year.
