Wedo Villaflor   Shortstop | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting The book on Villaflor is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Wedo Villaflor to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is. It's hard to explain but Wedo Villaflor plays much better on the road then he does at home. Baserunning & Defense Villaflor doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. Minor league scouts have accused Villaflor of being a liability in the field. Wedo's arm leaves a little to be a desired. 2025 Outlook Villaflor flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition.
