Kobe Radilla
Starting Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players
Pitching He keeps the ball down and gets a lot of groundballs. Radilla can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. When his release point drops below three-quarters, his fastball tends to hang in the strike zone. He has an above-average changeup and the ability to throw from a variety of arm angles. He traditionally fares better against lefties.
Defense & Hitting For a lefty, his move to first base is average at best, and he has a tendency to forget about runners at second, thereby creating opportunities to swipe third. Radilla is agile on the mound, though he makes needless errors when his concentration wanders. Radilla is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Radilla has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Radilla as a pinch-runner on occasion.
