Clark Resser
Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting The book on Resser is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. I tell you, it's a real trip to watch this kid play. He gives 110% all the time... unfortunately that means he tends to run out of gas as the game wears on. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense Resser isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Resser you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate, and he knows when to unload or take his time.
2025 Outlook Resser was a rule-five pickup for the Retired or Inactive Players last year. I think The Retired or Inactive Players just didn't want to be left out of the Rule-V draft, why else would you sign Resser?
