Romario Rue   Right Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting In past seasons, Rue has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Rue is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Rue always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Rue when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. Baserunning & Defense Rue isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Rue you're not putting him in for his glove.
