Wayne Sammon   Third Baseman | Free Agents Hitting In past seasons, Sammon has been a bit of a liability with men on base. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Sammon usually pounds the ball into the ground to try to get the most out of his speed. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. Baserunning & Defense When his legs are healthy, Sammon is an excellent basestealer with good speed and first-step quickness. Sammon isn't a fluid third baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. 2025 Outlook I can't say I know what The Free Agents were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best.           -- Moostard Nyman
