Nenad Silcock
Starting Pitcher | Fredericton Bandits
Pitching The bottom also falls out of his very good changeup. Silcock can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. Because he can't overpower hitters, Silcock has to fool them instead. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders.
Defense & Hitting He's average in terms of controlling the running game. A shaky fielder, he's slow to react to grounders and often looks unsure on his throws to the bases. Silcock is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Silcock has some pop in his swing.
