He thrives late in games. Stoutmyer always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense
When you play Stoutmyer you're not putting him in for his glove. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Stoutmyer often has trouble scoring from second base on singles and goes from first to third only on hits to right field.
2025 Outlook
Stoutmyer isn't cutting the mustard in the low minors. It's time for Guiness to investigate other career options, like coaching highschool ball.
