Louis Underwood
Relief Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players
Pitching I love Underwood's sinker. This thing plummets like a rock at 59 feet. Underwood also has a decent changeup. Because he can't overpower hitters, Underwood has to fool them instead. He frequently leaves fastballs up in the strike zone, where they get pounded. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.
Defense & Hitting Underwood is a reliable fielder who doesn't get rattled on defensive plays and is rarely out of fielding position. He's average in terms of controlling the running game. Underwood is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Underwood has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Underwood as a pinch-runner on occasion.
