Sandez Uzzle
Starting Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players
Pitching Uzzle also throws a screwball. Let's just say he's screwy on the field and off... so watch out for that devastating screwball! He's got a really stong arm, so he can blow it by you on occasion. He's a good late inning man, which is when being a pitcher really counts. Uzzle's fastball is a tick above average, in the 90-91 MPH range on most nights. Uzzle also has a decent changeup. The Retired or Inactive Players hope he can work on his control a little bit. Every once and a while one slips away from him and either ends up at the backstop or in the right field bleachers. He traditionally fares better against lefties.
Defense & Hitting His pickoff move is merely average. A shaky fielder, he's slow to react to grounders and often looks unsure on his throws to the bases. Uzzle is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Uzzle has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Uzzle as a pinch-runner on occasion.
