Shane Walters  
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
One of the nice things about Shane is that he's a real clutch hitter. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Walters always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Walters when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Aggressive on the basepaths, Walters is a good basestealer and takes the extra base when needed most. His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet.

2025 Outlook
Walters has below average skills, even for the low minors. One has to expect the Retired or Inactive Players will give him his walking papers before the end of the season.
