Chris Battle
First Baseman | Vancouver Orcas
Hitting With his ability to hit for average and his sound batting eye, he makes a good No. 2 hitter. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. You can expect Chris Battle to pull the ball.
Baserunning & Defense Battle isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Battle you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.
2025 Outlook The Vancouver Orcas signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Battle like a hot potato if something better comes along.
