Porter Bayus   Center Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting Bayus never has been a patient hitter. I tell you, it's a real trip to watch this guy play. He gives 110% all the time... unfortunately that means he tends to run out of gas as the game wears on. Bayus always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense Bayus isn't a fluid center fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par.
