Slaten Chatman   Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting One of the nice things about Slaten is that he's a real clutch hitter. The book on Chatman is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. Baserunning & Defense His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough. Chatman doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. 2025 Outlook Chatman flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition.
