Pitching
He's got a really stong arm, so he can blow it by you on occasion. Boullion's fastball was clocked at 95 MPH most of the season and he kept excellent control of it. Boullion also has a decent changeup. The Retired or Inactive Players hope he can work on his control a little bit. Every once and a while one slips away from him and either ends up at the backstop or in the right field bleachers. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.
Defense & Hitting
Boullion is nothing special in the field. Boullion would seem to be an easy target for basestealers as he has a pedestrian pickoff move. But teams rarely try to run on him, perhaps because his pitches get to the plate quickly. Boullion is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Boullion has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Boullion as a pinch-runner on occasion.
2025 Outlook
AA isn't the right place for Boullion. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down for some minor retooling. I just don't know if The Retired or Inactive Players are ever going to get what they expect out of him.
