Taj Bredesen
Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting One thing's for sure, late in the game you're glad you have him on the field. Bredesen never has been a patient hitter. Bredesen always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Bredesen doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often.
