Vaikona always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. Vaikona is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.

2025 Outlook
In one full big league season, Vaikona already has done more than what scouts projected when he came out of college.
