Marsh Buskminster
Second Baseman | Grand Rapids Red Dogs
Hitting Buskminster never has been a patient hitter. I tell you, it's a real trip to watch this kid play. He gives 110% all the time... unfortunately that means he tends to run out of gas as the game wears on. Buskminster always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense With his blinding speed, quick first step and good judgment, Buskminster easily can become a high-percentage, 50-steal man. Though he can range pretty far in both directions, he has bad hands and often can't come up with balls. His arm is well above average both in strength and accuracy.
2025 Outlook The Grand Rapids Red Dogs signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Buskminster like a hot potato if something better comes along. Buskminster admits he probably never will have even average power.
