Hitting
The book on Horton is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Horton always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Horton has below-average speed and is a poor baserunner. Minor league scouts have accused Horton of being a liability in the field. Dazzy's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
