Charlie Jennings@   Catcher | Val d'Or Sharks Hitting Jennings is a rare offensive catcher in that he can hit for power and average. He's still a singles hitter at heart, and knows how to shorten up and protect the plate with two strikes. He sometimes will press in clutch situations and chase fastballs up and out of the zone. During the last two years, he has become more patient and gotten better loft on the ball. The statistics don't lie: Jennings gets most of his home runs against lefties. A spray hitter in the classic sense, Charlie puts the ball all over the park. Baserunning & Defense Jennings isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.
