Red Piatt   Relief Pitcher | Val d'Or Sharks Pitching He's a good late inning man, which is when being a pitcher really counts. His curveball is solid; he throws it better than your average reliever. His fastball is just average, and therefore he relies heavily on placing it in different parts of the strike zone or setting it up with his curveball. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success. Defense & Hitting Though he lacks a good pickoff move, he checks the running game with a compact stretch delivery. He isn't especially quick off the mound but generally fields his position adequately. Piatt is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher.
