Abe Jerich   Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting Jerich never has been a patient hitter. Let's face facts: Jerich hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. One thing's for sure, Abe Jerich is a dead-pull hitter. Baserunning & Defense When you play Jerich you're not putting him in for his glove. Abe's arm leaves a little to be a desired. His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal. 2025 Outlook One has to wonder what Abe Jerich is doing in AA.
