Hitting
Kelly has quick hands and is able to cover the entire plate. He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. Kelly always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The statistics don't lie: Kelly gets most of his home runs against lefties. Left field, right field, center: this guy puts it all over.

Baserunning & Defense
Kelly isn't a fluid third baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate, and he knows when to unload or take his time. Kelly isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.
