Evans McKey   Right Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting The book on McKey is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. McKey always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit McKey when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. Baserunning & Defense McKey doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often. McKey plays mostly right field, where his mediocre range and throwing arm are less than ideal. He'd be better off in left. 2025 Outlook McKey flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition.
