Robt Milsap
Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting The book on Milsap is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Milsap always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal. Milsap is a poor defensive catcher. He isn't very mobile or adept at blocking balls in the dirt. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.
