Brent Ponson   Catcher | Kelowna Okanagans Hitting Ponson has quick hands and is able to cover the entire plate. He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. Ponson always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Kelowna Okanagans do tend to sit Ponson when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. Left field, right field, center: this guy puts it all over. Baserunning & Defense His arm is below average but not a major weakness.
