Jaime Ropac
Shortstop | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting One of the nice things about Jaime is that he's a real clutch hitter. The book on Ropac is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Ropac when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. You can expect Jaime Ropac to pull the ball.
Baserunning & Defense Ropac isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Jaime's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
2025 Outlook One has to wonder what Jaime Ropac is doing in AA. In all honesty, he could use a lot of work on the fundamentals in the low minors.
