Bobbyariel Vieth   Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players Hitting In past seasons, Vieth has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Vieth is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Vieth when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. Baserunning & Defense Vieth isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired.
