Hampus Stephenson   Relief Pitcher | Toronto Polar Bears Pitching Though Stephenson can't just blow the ball by hitters, he has some giddyup on his fastball. His changeup isn't bad... he fools his share of hitters. He walks too many hitters and throws too many pitches. Because he can't overpower hitters, Stephenson has to fool them instead. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success. Defense & Hitting Stephenson does an average job of holding runners. Stephenson doesn't field his position well. Stephenson is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Stephenson has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Toronto Polar Bears have been known to use Stephenson as a pinch-runner on occasion. 2025 Outlook The Toronto Polar Bears signed him to a long-term contract, but don't think they won't drop Stephenson like a hot potato if something better comes along.           -- Ska Nyman, A-Ball Scout
