Ryan Woodall
First Baseman | PEI Argonauts
Hitting Woodall was a line-drive hitter when he first came up, but over the last few years has become more of a true home-run hitter, lofting more high flyballs. The PEI Argonauts do tend to sit Woodall when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. You can expect Ryan Woodall to pull the ball.
Baserunning & Defense He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is accurate enough. Woodall is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.
